EHS Manufacturing is a Mackay precision engineering and fabrication business. They design and build equipment for two of the region's biggest industries: cable handling systems for mining, and harvester modifications and controlled traffic solutions for sugarcane growers, alongside hydraulic cylinders and custom one-off engineering. Thirty years of work behind them, most of it problem-solving that never leaves the workshop.

The brief was a set of brand assets: a short video and a library of stills that show what the business actually is. For a company like this, that is not about lifestyle or warmth. It is about credibility, process, and getting the technical detail right. People who buy precision engineering want to see that you know what you are doing.

The team, on location

Rather than shoot headshots against a studio wall, we photographed the team out the front of the workshop, with a John Deere tractor and one of their orange cable-reel builds in frame and cane fields behind. It ties each person straight to the work and the sectors they serve. Consistent light, relaxed and to camera, a clean and current look for the website, LinkedIn and capability documents.

In the workshop

The other half of the story is the work itself. The welding, the fabrication, the machined detail. This is the content that proves capability rather than claiming it, and it is worth the extra time to shoot properly around a working floor without getting in the way of the job.

The kind of work this is

This is corporate and industrial photography plus corporate video for a business that makes things. The value is in showing the process accurately, so a prospective mining or agricultural client can look at the content and trust the capability behind it. It sits alongside the mining and industrial work that makes up a lot of what I shoot across Central Queensland.

"I love to see Australian manufacturing alive and strong with EHS barely 15 minutes away from my front door."
