CSE Linked is a Mackay renewable energy company, part of the CSE Crosscom group, designing and manufacturing solar and hybrid power systems from their solar-powered Linked Powerhouse facility. Their main product is the Solar Trailer, a portable, mine-spec off-grid power station they market as the EcoHub, built for mining, heavy industry and remote sites that need power where there is no grid to plug into.
This one covered two shoots: a first visit to photograph the Solar Trailer in detail, and a second to shoot the finished unit alongside the team who build and support it.
The Solar Trailer
A product like this lives or dies on trust in the engineering, so the brief was detail: the panel array, the galvanised frame, the way it folds out from the trailer bed to mine specification. Close, considered shots rather than a single wide hero, so the build quality does the talking.

The team behind it
The second visit brought the whole team together at the yard, in front of one of their own units. A great bunch to shoot, easygoing about the whole thing, which always shows in the final images. One clean group shot for the website and LinkedIn, everyone in CSE Linked branded workwear next to the product they build.

The kind of work this is
This is product photography for a business that manufactures its own hardware, plus a corporate team shoot to go with it. It sits alongside the mining and industrial work that makes up a good share of what I shoot in Central Queensland, since a lot of CSE Linked's gear ends up on mine sites and remote worksites just like this.
