The Setup
Zak had organised a beach shoot as a surprise proposal for Amy. She had no idea. My job was to make it feel natural, get them relaxed, shoot some portraits, and have the camera ready when Zak got down on one knee.

A Whale Showed Up
I'm not joking. Right there, off the coast, a whale surfaced. In the middle of a proposal shoot. On one of the most emotionally charged moments of these two people's lives, the ocean decided to put on its own show.
